These air fryer honey sriracha wings are my absolute favorite! They're so full of flavor and so satisfying to eat. The combination of the sweet honey and spicy sriracha goes so well together topped with green onions for the perfect bite! The air fryer cooks them perfectly with the baking powder being the key ingredient for that crisp.
Note:
If you don't have an air fryer you can bake or fry these.
For more spice add more sriracha and for more sweetness add more honey.
INGREDIENTS
(Makes about 20 wings)
Chicken:
Chicken Wings
1 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp onion powder
1/2 tsp smoked paprika
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
1 tsp baking powder (add more if needed)
Drizzle of oil
Honey Sriracha Sauce:
1 tbsp butter
1 tbsp soy sauce
1/4 cup honey
1/4 cup sriracha
1/2 tsp garlic powder or fresh minced garlic
Toppings:
Green onions
Sesame seeds (I ran out for the picture for this recipe but typically use them)
Directions
Using paper towels pat your wings completely dry and add to a bowl.
Season with garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, pepper, and baking powder.
Drizzle with oil and mix everything.
Air fry at 400 degrees for 18-20 minutes. Flip halfway through.
While the wings are cooking make your sauce.
In a pain melt the butter then add the honey and sriracha and combine.
Add in the soy sauce and garlic and cook on low to medium heat until thickened.
Once the wings are cooked add them to a large bowl and pour the sauce over and toss to coat.
Top with green onions and sesame seeds and enjoy warm!
